Quick and
easy homemade chicken noodle soup recipe.
What you
will need:
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 packs of store-bought chicken broth
- 2 sticks (ribs) of celery
- 2 medium size carrots
- ½ of medium size onion
- Wide egg noodles
How to make
it:
Cut and fry
chicken breasts. I had mine already prepared – cut into small cubes and fried
with salt, pepper and garlic.
Peel and
prepare carrots and onion. Cut all of the veggies into small cubes.
Then fry
them on a small amount of oil over the medium heat, stirring occasionally.
When celery
and carrots get little softer and onion is clear, turn off the heat.
Pour 2
packs of chicken broth into a soup pot, bring it to boil.
Then add veggies,
chicken and noodles.
I added 1/3
of 16oz pack of egg noodles, and it turned out to be just the right amount.
Add seasonings.
I added salt, white pepper, basil, parsley, onion powder and a little bit of
garlic powder.
Cover and
let it boil over the medium heat for about 10 mins.
Stir, turn
off the heat and let it sit for a few more minutes.
